Dutch Baby Pancakes
Ingredients
- ½ cup plain flour
- ½ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1-2 tbs Raw Earth Sweetener
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 50g butter
Method
Preheat the oven to 220C
- Place your skillet or baking dish inside the oven to heat.
- Sift in the flour to a mixing bowl. Whisk the batter ingredients together until thoroughly combined and no lumps remain. Rest covered for 25-30 minutes.
- When you are ready to make the pancake, carefully remove the skillet or pie dish from the oven and melt the butter in it, making sure the pan is really hot and coats the sides.
- Pour the pancake batter on top of the butter, tilt as needed to ensure the batter spreads evenly.
- Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Serve with fresh berries, cream and a sprinkling of Raw Earth.
